The Facebook Domain Verification app sets the meta-tag containing the verification code into the <head> section of your website's homepage.

Before you begin

Access the Facebook Business Settings and log in to your account to check your domain verification code. Click the Meta-tag Verification tag and copy the code inside the content attribute.

Configuration

You can install the Facebook Domain Verification app in your account either via the App Store or the VTEX IO CLI.

Using VTEX App Store

  1. Access the Apps section in your account's Admin page and look for the Facebook Domain Verification box.
  2. Click the Install button. You should see a warning message requiring the necessary configurations. Scroll down and type in your verification code.
  3. Click Save.

Using VTEX IO CLI

  1. Install the vtex.facebook-domain-verification@1.x app.
  2. Access the Apps section in your account's admin page and look for the Facebook Domain Verification box. Once you find it, click on the box.
  3. Fill in the domain verification code.
  4. Click Save.
